Song of the Day II

These guys always could really play, no matter the lineup.

Sad to think that all four of the original members are now gone, but it's understandable. Fourteen songs in a little over 26 minutes, which is shorter than some Neil Young songs. This captures their essence pretty well, two3zone. Joey was the great reluctant front man who somehow pulled it off when he got on stage. Johnny punished his guitar until his hands literally bled. Dee Dee was like a caged lion unleashed. Tommy was a fantastic drummer and producer. In the context of their time, there was really nothing like this, and they inspired the early British punks like the Clash and S e x Pistols.

Do they still pretend Janet never existed because of a boob?

25 years since this album came out. “Empty” is a flawless song IMO, one of her best, and extremely underrated. The drums are nuts. Jam and Lewis really went to town on this album.
