Sorry doug

Real nfl teams beat the pats. Especially in the super bowl

One reason I love the NFL over college is the amount of games that turn in the last minute. Its incredibly stimulating and frustrating at the same time.

Its not even close how better it is. Throw in a real postseason and the fact that more than 7 teams can actually win a title

I went the better part of a decade watching some of the most putrid football anyone has ever seen between the Bills and SU. I sometimes questioned why I even watch football anymore. This weekend has given me flashbacks to those days.

That being said, I thought Doug had a decent debut today. The Pats two touchdowns came after turnovers deep in the Bills territory. Other than that, the D held them to 3 FG's. People are also making way too big of an issue of the time management thing at the end of the game. There was 6 minutes left, not 2. In reality, they probably would have only run about 40-50 more seconds off the clock if they didn't go hurry-up. The Pats were well within FG range with 2 minutes still left in the game. Wouldn't have mattered if there were only 30 seconds left at that point instead of 2 minutes.

I was beyond impressed with Marrone/Buffalo. Very excited for the future. They just NEED to shake the culture of losing. Winning teams make catches, plays, convert 3rd downs and win close games. Losing teams have a diva WR who talks smack all week and drops a HUGE would be 3rd down conversion. The turnovers evened themselves out and the Bills lost due to mistakes and penalties, all which can be corrected. They have some winnable games coming up and need to capitalize on those to get some momentum and confidence moving forward.

Defense under Pettine looks solid and very talented. Can't wait to see them against teams without Brady and the Pats O-line.
Defense also gets Byrd and Gilmore back soon.
EJ Manuel looks to be the real deal.
Robert Woods and Stevie Johnson are a nice WR Tandem.
Spiller will be better than he was yesterday and -Jax is still a solid back.
Offense will only get better as they gel together.

The loss was heartbreaking, but there is a lot to be positive about.

Need to get a win against Carolina!

Two drops, Johnson and an INT late. They make either of those and who knows what happens. Brady converted a couple of those 3rd downs by fingertips. Coverage was great and Amendola is make these acrobatic laid out catches.

I was very impressed by Buffalo's secondary without Byrd and Gilmore. Like you said, Amendola was making stupid ridiculous catches.
