Vanderbilt is a good school for SU to schedule. Not far from many of our recruits, and a school we can entertain realistic thoughts of beating.

Remember the name David Williams (Vandy's AD). He has a shared background with new SU Chancellor Kent Syverud. If the SU AD position ever opens up under Syverud, I would think he would be strongly considered.

Was in Nashville last week and took in the Vandy campus. Great place to visit and party. Hattie B's Hot Chicken and Martin's BBQ are the best...as are the tons of bars/music joints in Nash Vegas.

Vandy would be a great team for SU to play. Basically a 7 hr trip for our Chicago and Detroit area families to see their kids play. St. Louis is about 4.5 hrs.

If the ACC/SEC start playing more in the future Vandy will be very popular with the ACC Private schools.

Yes, they just completed a 4 game series so maybe Vandy will be looking for something fresh. I imagine that Vanderbilt will be most interested in Duke based on the recent success but Syracuse has to be up there on the list.

A couple times during visits to Nashville, I stayed at the hotel adjacent to Vandy's football stadium in a room overlooking the entire stadium from the end zone. Simply amazing. I can't imagine what one of those rooms goes for on game day.

Nashville is an awesome city and would make for an amazing away game experience.
