id say it went from a in the Louisville game to a C +. I thinkthey may have adjusted some speakers a bit?Better, not perfect, but better.
Great description. Exactly rightid say it went from a in the Louisville game to a C +. I thinkthey may have adjusted some speakers a bit?
hearing loss affects the higher pitches first.I could hear Mr. Excitement fine, for better or for worse. I think it's because he has a reasonably deep voice and speaks slowly. Higher-pitched, fast-talking female voices, not so much.
Curious how it will be today. Heard a sound bite of Sala saying it will be better because it will be a bigger crowd, and less sound bouncing off of empty metal seats.
I’m not sure how he can comfortably claim that without having ever filled the dome sense the renovation. The biggest crowds we’ve had was Paul and Elton and by all accounts the sound was horrid.
We shall see. I hope he’s right.
Nahh. Bouncing off hard stuff, plastic, metal, whatever, including the roof, is the problem. Need bodies, to minimize reflections. If that's actually the case, replacing them with plastic seats will make a MASSIVE difference for next season even without the tweaking they will be doing.
You have some control when speakers are just on stage. Line up 50 speakers in a circle around the dome? Bloody sound engineers MESS.The sound for Elton was ok, not great, but not bad, and you could here what he said, but he had his own speakers.
Well Pete, you were wrong. Literally no difference.Curious how it will be today. Heard a sound bite of Sala saying it will be better because it will be a bigger crowd, and less sound bouncing off of empty metal seats.

Me tooWe thought it was the best sound all year.
