Sources: Nerlens Noel AND Shabazz Muhammad to Kentucky

Rothstein's original story doesn't really say anything other than there's a chance Noel goes to UK. Which is true, but its also true that I might hit the lottery tonight. That story seems intentionally planted...which makes me questions his sources. Nation of Orange poured gasoline on the fire with the title of this thread...as if the kids made a decision. No offense, but not exactly the greatest moment in journalism history.

I'm starting the hear that UK is a distant 3rd in this race...and its really between SU and Gtown. But I expect twists and turns as this winds down.

Everyone knows that everyone associated with Syracuse basketball must first achieve sainthood before they can wear orange, after all.

Thats insane, even if they were to get in trouble down the road which they wont because the NCAA doesnt know the directions to the Kentucky campus

and it would mean WE DONT GET HIM !!!

Certainly not my intent. You're correct the title was misleading. That was 100% my fault. I apologize for that. I was trying to pass information along, just didn't do it very well.

I hate Kentucky and hate Calipari. But like it or not he has got one and done prospects to the NBA lottery for the last 3 or 4 years. Sure, the argument can be made it mostly do with the player. But its still a heck of a selling point and safe bet for a one and done hopeful. I can certainly see the allure of Kentucky for such a prospect.

I don't want Syracuse becoming that type of school. Don't mind getting one and done's and still like our chances with Noel... but would not want the entire program being based on such players either.
I like 4 year players as much as you, but you would turn down UK's last 3 years? elite 8>final 4>final 4?

Not only that but their teams play unselfish and this year's squad is one of the most unselfish and fundamentally sound teams I've ever seen for a bunch of primadonnas and stud recruits. There is excellent coaching down there like it or not.

I was under the impression that MKG had an attitude problem, I guess I was severely misinformed.

Other than Cousins/Orton, Cal really gets good guys for the most part.

BRNCUSE,

Do you think the NCAA would ever, EVER, put Kentucky on probation?

How many titles? Means about as much as SU's recent tourney struggles.

maybe 1 this year? but it is not like Syracuse has any in the last 3 years besides the mythical one in 09

the point is I would take yearly trips to the elite 8 any day even if it meant our team was all one and done

lol how many titles

you and I.
Everyone under the age of 25? I think now says "me and you". My daughter and her friends carry A averages in school and all of them say "me and you" . I think it will be easier to change what is acceptable than to get them to use proper grammar. Texting, tweeting etc. are changing English as we knew it.
But agree this is a forum not an English class. Especially when typos come into play.

Yep. Anyone who thinks Calipari isn't a great coach is what Boeheim would call "an idiot."

i wouldn't call him great... i would call him very good. He's done well putting possible ego's in check, but winning helps that. A great coach with players like that probably wouldn't lose. They have talent disparity at every position, and its gross.

Ironically, that is what would make him a great pro coach, as that is primarily the strategy there. It's funny that his ability to do that, and I agree, it's world class, wasn't more successful at the NBA level.
