Stefon Thompson / Portal from Nebraska to FSU

Similar to Lowery in that his stats took a little bit of a hit this season.

I'm not saying that it was a mistake to transfer.
There could be a combination of several reasons for his stats to be worse than the previous year.

I'm more curious if there is a consistent challenge with overcoming new team, new coaches, new location, etc. and it's more likely that players who transfer take a backward step in their first year.

I guess White likes him.
He is a perfect fit for the 3-3-5 but he doesn’t seem to have the same explosion from his freshman year when he started here.

Also, strange seeing FSU going to 3-3-5. They usually are able to get the difference makers up front. It doesn’t seem like a good fit for them.

Don’t think they are going to this scheme out of necessity. They want the DC who happens to run a 3-3-5.

I guess the question is, if it can be an effective defense when you're scheming around deficiencies in talent, can it be even better when you can get the talent you don't have to scheme around?
