It's awful that he got hurt, and I do not want to make the assumption that Collins won't develop into an asset for us and force Fran to make a very difficult decision next year, but Angelli sticking around for the next two years when this team looks like it could be dominant - that's a silver lining to this horrible situation.

Hopefully he fully recovers and can make it back. Feel for the kid! He was starting to come into his own. Really liked how he was developing. I was a harsh critic against Tennessee but last few weeks he showed why he won the job.

We need Collins to step up and take the job and dominate.

Question becomes: if Collins doesn’t play all that well, do we go with Steve next year or do you need to hit the portal again for another QB. Just trying to figure out if you can come back after 10months and be full go!

I don’t have a crystal ball, but I absolutely believe he’ll make a full recovery next season and will lead our team to many wins just like he was trajecting to do this year.

I see where he thought our defense was faking but not Angeli. I just refuse to believe anyone could be that dumb

non contact injury. really unfortunate. i never had an achilles (did rupture my quads) but friends i know say there's a pop and then you immediately go to the ground. long hard road back but if you put in the time , effort , sweat and pain there is a path back. modern treatments keep getting better. gonna take patience and discipline .

hope to see him behind center again one day .
