Steve Angeli: Torn Achilles

I've had chronic achilles tendonitis for years. If it goes, it goes. I rest and it always comes back when i ramp up exercise.
Same here, being self employed can’t afford being out as it’s why I’ve given up any ballistic exercises and try and always ask for an alternative to cipro when I have to go on an antibiotic.

Would recommend the same for anybody that last part
Have you guys ever heard of doing heavy eccentrics for it? It sounds counterintuitive, but when I was in school, one of my instructors told my class about a therapist or doctor (I don't remember which) that stumbled on it by accident to treat achilles tendonitis.

All you Angeli haters, detractors and skeptics……….yeah get it now?

He will be fine. Pretty young guy to get this injury. All of us old folk healed better in early 20's than we do now. Not like he was an Olympic sprinter, where fractions of a second matter. Bernie Kosar once was a quality QB in the NFL and he had the speed of a tectonic plate shifting. The harder part is the mental aspect. Will he take things slow? Will he trust his body?

Yeah, this isn’t LenDale White we’re talking about here tearing his Achilles and all but ending his career. The biggest thing Angeli has going for him is that he’s 21
