Wait until the Bill’s new stadium holds 20,000 fewer fans. Maybe SU should try to scoop them up.

Nebraska also has 5 national Championships and has an argument as the best team in the country from 1970 - 2000. That type of success builds generations of hardcore fans. We aren’t in the same stratosphere as Nebraska football.

The question was cite a program with gung ho fans despite a losing season. Nebraska, losing seasons since 2016. Pretty similar to SU. Nebraska wants to get back to their glory years-2 coaching changes since that time. They strive to be relevant and competitive each year. Fans, boosters and alum expect success each year. We hope for a six win season and a lower end bowl, each year and that’s good enough for us. Clemson was irrelevant back in the 70s and 80s too until they got the program going. A few coaching changes gave them traction to get to where they are now.
SU needs to show they are serious about investing football before the fan base comes back. I’m not referring to brick and mortar investing, but in coaching personnel. Consistent mediocrity shouldn’t command $100 game tickets.
