Our record the past few seasons has been pretty horrible regardless of the color combo of our uniform for any given games.
When you lose 8 games for 3 straight seasons, it really is irrelevant what you’re wearing while doing so.

We should stop putting ourselves in that category of schools.

If we’re going to go non-OWO on the road, I’d prefer to go stormtrooper. It’s actually not a bad look. It’s just endlessly annoying that we do a gimmick every game. The gimmicks should be the exception to the rule.

the uniforms all kinda suck due to the Frankenstein looking numbers alone, but we are in the top 20, so I don't give a crap.

I’ve given up on anything other than the basic color scheme having a shot at being right, and sadly, we can’t consistently figure that piece out.

It would be great if all of our big wins didn’t involve embarrassing clown suits (VT - Clemson - NCSU - FSU), but it could be worse. We could have lost those games while wearing clown suits (ND).

Except in both instances the all white look is the longstanding brand - not a contrived effort to be clever or vogue.

In both instances the look is immediately recognizable.

And, in both instances the white helmet is not altered or modified but is classic.

The same could be said for Auburn - another proud program that has an easily identifiable and traditional all white look.

Your post misses the point.

We have no traditional or identifiable all white look.

In our situation going all white junks the brand, is not identifiable, and conveys an unnecessary desire to be vogue.

And in the process we look like dozens of other mediocre programs trying to do the same thing.

In our case - as opposed to Texas, Penn State and Auburn- it's a gimmick.

Two weeks in a row with zero orange. We’ve gone from orangemen to orange now we may as well drop the orange too. Yea they look “clean” but they aren’t the orange(men). But people get mad about fans not wearing orange. Lol.

There's Orange in the numbers ... along with 44 degree blue stripes!
