depends on the definition of recent. Women at this level do not take years to develop.

Given there also a very healthy transfer portal - If NA could identify talent and/or had installed a decent system, we'd know it by now. The ACC is rough, but the allure of playing in it - in and of itself is a powerful recruitment tool.

The best players on the team are the goalie, JT, and MR. Those are pretty much the only women left from the last regime.

Quick look at the roster and it appears really unbalanced. A lot of freshmen. That's going to be tough sledding in the ACC. Hopefully the staff does utilize the portal where possible to balance things out a bit.
