Interesting game. ND was close to blowing SU out and was in control for most of the game. They shredded the 2-3 zone with their shooters and good passing.
But Q switched to man defense in the fourth quarter, and ND stopped having open shots. SU played quality man defense and their massive advantage in size and athletic ability took over.
Also, ND has a bunch of key players who are out of shape and they hit the wall hard in the fourth quarter. Credit to Q and the SU team, who are in the best shape overall of any SU women’s team in a long time.
