From Sal's thoughts
1. Temple
Not a bad thought to play them 5 times a decade. 3 H, 2A Fran needs games close to S Jersey
2. Army (hard to get now)
Army renovating Michie. Play them H/H when available
3. Navy (hard to get)
Same for Navy
4. UConn
Work in a home and home 4 to 6 times a decade if a Temple deal can't be done. Leverage for a 3 games series in Hoops (H/A/MSG)
5. Buffalo
Play a 2 for 1 once a decade, maybe one series every 6 or 8 years
6. Delaware
Play a 2 for 1 once a decade
7. UMass
Play a 2 for 1 once a decade
I would hope we can afford buying 2 home games a year. One FCS and one G5. That will give us 7 home and 5 away every year.
For the FCS I would like to see Patriot League teams. They are close by which should help travel costs, they are private like us, and they aren't likely to be any good. Maybe a 12 year rotation of Colgate, Bucknell, Holy Cross, Fordham, Colgate, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Colgate, Fordham, Holy Cross, Lehigh.
For the G5 again schools that are close by to minimize their travel costs, and teams that aren't any good. Maybe a 12 year rotation of Akron, Buffalo, Delaware, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, UMass, Akron, Buffalo, Delaware, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, UMass.
Then for the other G5 a 12 year rotation of something like Temple H/A, Army H/A, UConn H/A, Temple H/A, Navy H/A, UConn H/A.
So over 12 years that would give us 4 games vs Temple/UConn, 3 games vs Colgate/Holy Cross, 2 games vs Akron/Army/Buffalo/Delaware/Eastern Michigan/Fordham/Kent State/Navy/UMass, 1 game vs Bucknell/Georgetown/Lafayette/Lehigh.
That gives us plenty of variety. It can get a little boring seeing the same bad teams over and over.
It is a little harder but I would like similar with the P4 games. Rotation of Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State, Rutgers, West Virginia.
