The coaches are accountable!! There, I will answer it for you. Like Kelly said, “NIL my ass” as I can’t say it any better.
Clearly, you know not of what you speak. You are entitled to your opinion...

Wooley is one answer. But not the whole reason.
OK, Yesterday's game represented a total defensive breakdown and is a significant reason why we have lost so many games. When we play person to person defense, because of our lack of players on the perimeter with quickness, every team gets dribble penetration at will, which leads to a layup, a kick out pass to an open shooter, or a foul! Our bigs lack rebounding intensity, Boston College got every offensive rebound and loose ball. When we play zone, again, our lack of perimeter quickness, allows other temas to move the ball inside out, until they find an uncovered player, either at the 'nail", in the corner, or under the basket.
Combine poor defense with a limited number of offensive skilled players. Wolley is the only real offensive threat. Burroughs is an inconsistent 3 point shooter with a very limited dribble drive mid range game. Our post players provide very little options for inside scoring with the exception of Izzy V., who is very inconsistent. Plus, we miss a lot of layups!!

When you combine poor defense with limited offensive/inconsistent firepower and inconsistent effort and intensity, you get the kind of performances that we are seeing this year. I am afraid that this team could be in danger of just giving in and giving up. A character test is awaiting this team the rest of the season !

What is the problem or problems? How do we fix them?
Getting better players will help! Point guard: We have no point guard! The game has moved to a place where 3 point shooting has become important: We are terrible at 3 pointers!

This program is quickly falling back to where it was before Q.. Better fix it and fix it fast if they don't want just ushers and family members of the players coming to the dome for home games.

One last thought, how could they play so well against Louisville and look like absolute dog poo today? It's been like that pretty much all season.
Georgia is the key? We have to stop relying on a star to carry the load instead of the entire team elevating their game. Is it talent, motivation, competitiveness etc?

During the non-conference season, wasn't it the coach that was complaining about the fans not caring? Why would anyone care about a team that is 1-6 in the conference, and just lost by 41?

Wasn't it the coach who has outwardly complained about NIL funding being lacking? Why would anyone donate to the program that has a coach that is getting blown out by peer institutions?

How about the coach identify talent, use relationships she has built in the coaching ranks to pull in kids who can play basketball?

I look at her resume and, yes, she had a nice run at UB. Decent at Hofstra. But the Indiana stint was very much underwhelming, and that lends me to believe she may be over her head.

I will also say I look around the country and know for a fact that there are mid-major teams who have better players than us with similar (i.e. $0) NIL budgets.

Sorry, this may come off as harsh but some of the comments earlier in the season made by the coach were too much. And completely uncalled for. Stop blaming others and look inward. The players you recruited are not good enough. Get better players.
