Why can a 16 seed play better than us vs UConn?

Uconn had a terrible day round 1, possibly there worse game all year. They are uber talented. We got their A game. There are only a couple of teams who cab competitive v. Their A game

A little class is more than we should expect from Geno lost any respect I once had when I see his 3/4 ct press up 53 points going into the Half!

That’s the way they play, He’s coaching his team. It’s not his problem if the other team can’t handle and pass the ball. SU played like they had no plan

I spoke to the women’s GM last fall and they were pleased with their revenue share from the University. Ideally, she said another $800,000 would put them in good shape. If they can’t raise that additional amount, they’re in big trouble.

Every 1-8/9 game is a blowout this season. It wouldnt have mattered had we drawn south carolina, ucla or texas. The results probably would have been just as ugly.

So many blowouts, many of the bench players get some run. Let's face it we have a lot of ground to make up in most areas to compete at that level. We have a fantastic coach and a potential All American center. We have THE BEST on campus arena. We need to be two deep on the floor everywhere. A Hidalgo like pg to pair with our big, a couple of deadly shooters and a pair of rebounding/defending beast and a freak athlete slasher and we are right there. It us a lot to wish for.

This isn't just an us thing. The difference in the elite and the rest in college basketball is massive.

Always has been. While improving, there is not enough elite talent to have many competitors for championships, espywhen Geno hogs so many for himself. Great coach plus top talent is tough to beat. Obviously!
