So glad her OTHER problems are coming out now (seriously, she had tons of problems at Pitt and some people with Syracuse thought she’d be a good hire? lol, so ironic that more workplace problems are coming out).Lyke was on the interview list and so was Nick caparelli. I know as much as Lyke has a few fans, a few other felt the opposite.
Basically Kent and the woman she went to law school with. I’ve been saying it for years everyone complains about certain people (coaches, players, how much $) but some of these people making decisions should have been let go or looked into a few years ago. Major credit to John wildhack having to deal with this behind closed doors. So glad her OTHER problems are coming out now (seriously, she had tons of problems at Pitt and some people with Syracuse thought she’d be a good hire? lol, so ironic that more workplace problems are coming out).

I have way more respect for Wildhack after todayBasically Kent and the woman she went to law school with. Will Pete Thamel at the top end of the totem pole address this directly. He always gets fed the scoops. If things are as bad as they were at Pitt and as bad as in the D.O. article, I wonder if she is named A.D. that not only employees of the Athletic Dept. quit but some coaches do also. [shaking my head]. This could end up being a major article by The Althetic in the New York Times. We haven't heard the end of this. Have to wonder if the media in Pittsburgh picks up on the D.O. article.
I hope you’re correct. I can here the hire ups say that they looked into it and everything was unfounded.Yes we can.
She's kryptonite. The Unviersity can't touch her now, in light of the circumstances, with the other issues / red flags hanging over her head from before she was tossed a lifeline by SU. It was misguided bringing her in, in the first place. She will NEVER be the Athletic Director here now.
Or anywhere else. It's not good when your dirty laundry gets aired in public. She will NEVER be the Athletic Director here now.

Who's she related to?As I stated earlier, nepotism
Normally I would agree but when you get that sort of negative press in conjunction with the HR matter plus issues at Pitt. She has become radioactive and I see no way a new Chancellor takes that on day 1. She is done in my opinion.I won’t count her out until they officially name a new AD.
And never once aired the dirty laundry or pointed fingers. Dignity and class always - including his current "retirement.".
Guy put Cuse first. No need to put up with this garbage otherwise
Do you think she is done Bulldog?Like I said I told you there was gonna be more. I know who to thank for this article!
Just saw this, agreed. She is radioactive now and no way the Chancellor wants to deal with that kind of issue starting day 1.Yes we can.

she was law school classmates with a higher up in the chancellor's office, who is also mentioned in the article and report as being accused of covering some of it up.Who's she related to?
If UConn and Georgetown could pick our AD and bball coach they would choose Heather Lyke and Mike Hopkins. She should have been radioactive before coming here. The decision making at the highest level of this University is insane.
Maybe they mistakenly thought she would satisfy the Rooney rule.If I have my facts straight, Heather:
1. Was fired from a peer school just a year ago
2. Is named in 6 lawsuits for "failing to act on Women's Basketball coach abusive coaching methods"
3. Spent $240 million on an Olympics sports facility that didn't have the proper funding at Pitt
4. Had a formal HR Complaint filed against her for "harassment, bullying, and abuse of power" in December while at SU
And SU *still* interviewed her today as one of the four finalists to run our school's Athletic Department?
I don't know how decisions are made on The Hill these days but the folks in leadership positions at SU have lost their collective minds.
