Let’s go be University of Buffalo or SUNY Albany.

I think it’s pretty bush league to promote an event for a home game when there are plenty of tickets available.

Without the university and the athletic department support by buying tickets, how much you donate to NIL won’t matter.

You can buy the DART Pilsner in the Dome. So why not encourage people to attend the game AND buy the DART Pilsner in the Dome?

That helps out both ways.

If the game was a sold out game I would think entirely different.

Meiers creek is a great partner to SU, that said they absolutely have not donated more to SU then this board combined. There's individual posters alone who have donated more, let's not get crazy here.

Meiers Creek could run a promo like “we are opening our taproom at 9am and will have a shuttle run to the dome, come drink DART Pilsners before the game and then head to the dome and support the team!!”

Or “Our taproom will open early so you can buy cases of DART to take to your tailgates before the game!”

Not trying to pull people away from the Dome on a home game.

Which is my whole point. Pack the DOME!

I love meiers creek and all they do for our NIL program. I think I was projecting my anger at our attendance issues at the wrong post. I just want people at the dome and to patronize the taproom.

Here’s an idea, go purchase tickets and give them to the inner city schools. Have the students attend and enjoy the game vs UConn. Instead of criticizing donors and friends of the team. After all, SU would be under .500 without them and you all would be complaining about how Carlos De Rio Wilson became a 4 star recruit for Florida and can’t win at Syracuse.
