SU Playing in Players Era NIL Tournament in Vegas in 2025

Hoping we have some games on the days before Thanksgiving. I'd go to Monday, Tuesday games.
 
What hotel will the team be staying in? Recently back from the Fountainbleau. Newest Vegas hotel and maybe the biggest, 75 floors? Two days is OK, a week would be too pricey.

The games are at mgm grand and T-Mobile which is walkable from mgm. I would think lots of teams stay there, park mgm and mgm signature

Is it bad I remember that? I think Popeye the movie was the first thing I watched. Also figured out by moving the dial up and down and switching the switch up and down, you could get Skinemax to come in.

Life was simpler then.
Seems like that's almost the same effort we have to do, to watch some SU games today

and I/we were so excited to get that new fangled tv with 13 channels (I think) you could change with the box

Disagree. It helps refill our NIL coffers and we need to get back to being Syracuse. If this is the viewpoint we are having then we don't have the right coach.

It’s year 3. All of the things that set up Autry to come short of success in year 1 and 2 is gone. We have had a complete roster makeover in the offseason with guys that fit the vision Autry is trying to implement. There is no such thing as a scheduling failure in year 3. It’s time to win games or move on. We’re Syracuse, we used to feel we can win every game we played because we had the talent to do so. We have the talent. If this was Dan Hurley’s roster or Rick Pitino roster, we would be preseason top 15. I’m not going to undersell how impressed I am at how this offseason has gone from a roster makeover perspective. And I’m glad we’re playing the best. You can’t be the best if you don’t beat the best.

Saint Joseph's, which was previously scheduled to participate in Players Era, will instead travel to Vegas to play two games in a three-team showcase event on Nov. 20 and 22 at the Thomas & Mack Center, according to sources, and its games will also have NIL money attached. The Hawks will face UNLV and Syracuse.
