If you can't get excited watching this team play, you're not a fan of basketball. My only concern is when we start to fall in love with the 3 ball. We have guards that can to get in the lane against anybody, the 3 ball should come off penetration and kick outs.

Some thoughts on last night:

-Waiters is a star. If he ever shores up his jumper he'll be unfair. Can get in the lane at will and probably our best finisher since Devo (say what you want about him but he was money at the basket)

-For all the abuse he gets, Scoop is a gamer. Not the athlete that Waiters is, but he's big and savvy and can get the ball to the rim. Mr. Big Shot.

-Kjo was really good last night. When he decides to just attack and not dribble for the sake of dribbling he's one of the better wings in the game.

-Bigs didn't do all that much on offense, but there not really asked to. If nothing else Fab is a presence down low and that might be good enough for this team. Would still love for him to get more touches on the block, at some point our guards are going to have a bad game.

-Southy and Fair split a half where they played excellent. Great to see Southerland hitting shots in a different venue against a decent team. If he can do that throughout he makes us really tough team to defend. Fair is Fair. And that's a good thing.

-I don't want to say that Triche was bad...but he was pretty bad. Says a lot about our team when he has an off game and we didn't miss a beat.
