Such a stellar, senior performance from Dungey

So happy for that kid. That play he made on the td pass to Harris was epic. Completely had everyone biting and then throws a dime last second to Taj for the easy TD. As much as I love him, Devito is not making that play IMHO.

Speaking of throws, everyone has been critical of Dungey’s arm and decision making lately (including me), but he was throwing absolute dimes out there. The throw to Nykeim was perfection. As was the one to Jamal and several others. Darts.

Kid shut up some mouths tonight. Power to him.

Dungey will always be one of my favorite Syracuse athletes in history. He is by no means a perfect quarterback but you know he's going to give it everything he has, ever game. He also just makes things happen out of nowhere.

CMU - 2015. TexanMark was gracious enough to share sideline passes with me. We looked at each other early in that game and discussed the “magic” Eric had.

It’s not always prototypical or by design, but, he makes things happen. He’s one of the most unique players our University has seen in 100+ years.

Enjoy him for the next 5 games that we get him.

Regardless of what the future looks like, you only get to see these characters for a finite amount of time. And I’m happy that his time has been in Orange.

I’ve been saying this all year, especially in the last week, though. There were enough opining about him on this board since the UNC game. I was telling people that Dungey would play with a vengeance and to hammer the Cuse moneyline. Was super happy to see him look like his baller self.

Looked the best throwing the ball that he's looked all year. There were a couple "what was that throws" and his competitiveness contributed to 1 or 2 poor decisions, but I'll take that when he is playing like that. Hopefully this means he's getting healthy and can finish strong. He deserves it for the way he's carried this team for most of his time here.

It wouldve been more reasonable imho. You can find my post in that thread if you look. Devito looks promising and deserves the credit for the unc win which was beyond huge but need to do more than hit on a few bomba to beat out a four year starter like ED...

It seemed like most people were calling for Dungey to start but with a short leash. I was in that camp. I still am but with a longer leash. TD is too good to keep on the bench if ED is off his game or clearly physically less capable due to injury. He didn't look like that tonight and I hope the he doesn't look like that the rest of the year.
