Summer Vaca?

The ride up Vesuvius in the big wheeled vehicles was fun. We did it in a major rain storm, thought they guy was going to drive us off the side of the mountain on the way back down.
Napoli area: craziest drivers ever! I saw people jumping out of the way of mopeds driving on the sidewalks. Makes a Jersey driver look like

San Francisco, Yosemite, Yellowstone & Salt Lake.
Yosemite is one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. I still have two pictures on my wall from that trip. One is of this
old scraggly tree on top of this stone dome and the other is of this deer who moved just when I was taking my photo. Everything in the background
is blurred, his head slightly so, and his body in clear outline. Looks like a super painting. Wish I could say I planned it.

I'm Bored.

Anyone going anywhere cool this summer?

Looks like I'm staying in state this year. Saving my monies for Atlantis. Planning on spending a lot of time on the Klutina river, trying to fill my freezer with king salmon.

Let me live vicariously through you guys? Where ya headed?
Just got my vac for the year done, 3 days at Seal Beach and a day in Vegas. Saw Dodgers opening day and Clippers v. Lakers (Wes had 15 pts).
Nothing much till FB season though I do plan a trip to see Tigers and Yankees in June.

Ever been to Lake George?

Likely not even close to as fun as some other places, but it's one of the most beautiful lakes in the country, imo. Obviously I'm biased as I've vacationed there with family my entire life (as has my mom), but it's truly that great

Yup, went there a few times when I was a kid with my family and a couple in college. Always had a great time.

Anyone here ever been to Sebago Lake in Maine?

Great area.

Be sure to take a drive to the coast while you're there.

Lake George is an awesome lake - the town very touristy. Did the para sailing several years ago. Foliage season a cool time to visit.
