The unity. I'm assuming most have seen the locker room and on court celebrations already, but:
  • Kaleb was going nuts in the locker room, complete jubilation.
  • Lydon, still can't get over this kid. Same for Frankie, the future is very bright.
  • The Roselle Catholic connection, Mali and TR both ear to ear smiles. Yes, even Robey let loose in celebration.
  • Obviously, the two seniors in Cooney and G. So happy for them to lead the way for the younger guys, never gave up, never had their head's down no matter how far out of reach FF seemed yesterday.
  • DC. Talking about resiliency! Not many of us thought he'd make a difference after the injuries, myself included.
  • The whole team, like I said, unity.
I still can't believe we made it to the promised land!

Don't overlook your own contributions...the one billion+ "tees" you've bestowed on the rest of us shifted karma just enough. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say thank you, Tee, for this wonderful run...

Every player is incredibly likeable and well-spoken. Two guys who have had really tough careers so far, Coleman and Kaleb, are perhaps our biggest cheerleaders from the bench. It is truly awesome.

It didn't matter really, but I loved Coleman got that last rebound.

Like your whole post, but damn DC. I just love this kid. Two surgeries. Can barely jump some nights. Does nothing but work his a$$ off. Never complaining, always a cheerleader. Bleeds Orange.

Was very solid last night when Robi fouled out too. Monster friggin board.
DC! Ah, his first points. The very beginning of HULK SMASH! That fight in him after he converted his first field goal, awesome!

DC obviously spent a lot of his rehab time taking foul shots. He went from 45% to 55% to damn near 70% this season. He could be like that center from Marquette a few years back and go to the line 15 times a game. I know in my heart Dajuan missed the 2nd last night on purpose to burn just an extra second off the clock.

Look at that determination, defiance

I absolutely LOVE all the basketball alums that continue to support this program and have become true fans. Carmelo with his videos, MCW, McCullough, Ennis, Rak, Jason Hart, DC, Devo, etc, etc, etc all tweeting and showing their support. Guys like Ennis, Rak, CJ going to the game. It's awesome, just flat out awesome.

And you can see how all the current players have that same love for the school, team and JB/staff. I expect we'll see them all make their returns in the future in these moments.

I'm sure other schools see their former players back but nobody does it like CUSE!

Trev, you deserve it. Poured his heart and soul into this effort.

Absolutely! Kid has done everything the right way. Fought his tail off, worked harder than anyone, gone balls to the wall on the court, faced more critics than anyone, and yet...he's still here, he's still fighting, he's still smiling. This kid deserves every minute of this FF run! And I'm sure his folks are happy to put another 3,000 miles on the Buick.

Anyone notice that there has been a pretty significant change in Trevor's approach to the game?

He went 2-10 from 3 against FSU and then since he has controlled the number of shots he has attempted generally taking fewer and being more selective

vs. Pitt (ACCT) 3 of 6 (50%)
vs. Dayton 2 of 5 (40%)
vs. MTSU 4 of 7 (57%)
vs. Gonzaga 1 of 2 (50%)
vs. UVA 0 of 1 ( 0%)

He has started to recognize that he doesn't need to be a volume shooter from 3, unless of course he is on...then shoot all night.

yes it's been a tremendous improvement

Kaleb was celebrating like all the other guys. He was into it. Great to see. Seems like such a good kid.
So glad for Cooney. This run helps him go out in a much more favorable light.
