Swarbrick

ND is no betteror worse then the other cheaters throughout college football, the thing is that their fans always have this nose in the air attitude about them. Makes you hate ND with a passion.

I am just stunned at some of the decisions that people actually make in life. God knows I have made my fair share but these are over the top.
The cover-up is always far worse than the transgression.

Te'o, Swarbrick and ND are, for the foreseeable future, the laughing stock of college sports. I love it.

I'm also tired of Teo being called a "kid." He ain't 16. A 22, 23 year old captain at ND isn't a kid.

lance got a day off before his crap started because of this-

this is the ultimate in strange- but this is also modern america and the shelf life is very limited-

After Bernie, Fab, Roger and now Sutherland I think laughing at anyone else's misfortune would be the last thing an SU fan would do.

Fab and James? Seriously? Both are academic related and can't be remotely categorized with Manti...rapes...or covering-up the death of a student video specialist.

I would bet that the entire Bernie story didn't receive half of the national play that this Te'o fiasco has garnered in three days.

I have no idea where the Roger story ends up.

You know what would help Notre Dame get out of this? Going all in with a conference (one with Atlantic in its name). :D

Simply saying that we're not perfect and I have to admit it's a good thing for SU that Teo and Armstrong happened.

This is all a vicious plot by the BiG and SEC. Can't you see it?! It's The Manchurian Middle Linebacker! Infiltrate. Gain their trust. Become the face of everything. Then go batsh1t crazy and bring it all down.

(psssssst. sarcasm.)

And then an embarrassed Notre Dame joins the ACC as a full time member and their ultimate plan of having ND join the Big 10 fails.

My favorite part of this whole thing was when Swarbrick came out and tried to put a bow on it. "This is what happened! No, really! We consider this case closed!"

This is going to be ugly if any journalists really start to dig - which I think it's to juicy not to. Popcorn, time.

This could spiral downward very quickly for ND, especially if they knew more than they said they did and depending on the fallout...could cost Swarbrick his job.

Eh, no one should lose their jobs over this. Sufficient enough just to point at them and laugh. I do think, however, that there are a lot of sports reporters who have to take a long, hard look in the mirror after this and say, "Am I really doing all that I can to make sure I am actually reporting sports news, and not just regurgitating crap?"
