Here's the problem and maybe why. HCFB lied to all of us that the contest for QB1 was extremely close. Lied to Rickie too. And now he refuses to consider alternative QBs. Says they aren't ready. Well, why not? Shouldn't his staff have prepared someone else to step in if Rickie got injured. Or if Rickie failed to do the job adequately? It's a credibility issue. WE LOVE SU!!! I have since I was a little kid growing up in Syracuse. Like 7 decades ago. We BLEED Orange! But we're so so so so disappointed. Yes, that Steve went down. But beyond that. That the staff can't seem to manage the situation better. The real question remains for the program and us --> Fran is a GREAT recruiter. But can he coach? Seems like a similar question some (me included) ask about the basketball program. [And some also have been known to ask that about the Men's Lacrosse program. (But not the Women's Lacrosse program, now.)] So it derives from deeeeeep deeeeeep deeeeep disappointment. This site is a way for some to vent our frustrations. Call it a form of therapy. Hopefully most of us do it respectfully. Thanks for your comment, and allowing me to explain.
I wish someone would do a study on historical totals in the dome. Anecdotally I feel the carpet with perfect temp adds points. But I’m sure Vegas would adjust if there’s actual EV with that variable.

I think we've had 6 winning seasons since 2002 and some of those have been the 7-6 variety. We've gone through too many lousy seasons, including this one, with many blowout, embarrassing losses. We are a jaded and beaten down fan base. It's the frustration, disappointment, anger and hurt showing.
