I didnt notice this when I made my -8 thread earlier, and oddly I just replied to the Gottlieb thread not knowing he was mentioned in this. I wonder if Doug is enjoying this outcome as much as some of you may picture? Popping champagne, or instead acting like he's been in the end zone before?

Pickem sounds a little biased in favor the of the Cuse in retrospect!

"Pickem" was ridiculous at the time. Also, the -8 was ridiculous as well (btw it closed at -8.5). I brought it up at the pre-game bar and I thought somewhere in the -4.5 - 5.5 range was more appropriate. This was a 5-0 team that had just destroyed 25th ranked Michigan, and held them to sub 30% shooting.

On a side note, it's effin' painful when Dougie is right. (even my own pre-game line looks stupid, but we had 90% of the crowd, so shouldn't that be worth about 3 points by itself?)

realtime RPI had it a 1 point game in Syracuse's favor.
