Syracuse - Georgetown 1985

I was there too. Absolutely electric for the entire game. The Dome was only five years old, but it looks so much better 37 years later. JB’s teams turned the ball over so much more in the first 15 years of his coaching. Weird not seeing a three point line and the old rubber floor.

I didn't realize they used a rubber floor. That had to suck when diving for a loose ball.

The over-enthusiastic cheerleader after Pearl's shot looks like a young Jake
Ha. Just saw who you referring to. Cocaine is a powerful drug.

Some other nuggets…I was NOT at that game. I was in college at Brockport…watching it at a house a bunch of us rented. Which was actually not a bad gig because I’m pretty sure that game was blacked out in Syracuse because of those archaic old TV rules.

and that floor is still there now covered once more. There's a pic floating around of it exposed when the did the dome redo couple years back
