I'd say the I-School alums like Crowley of FourSquare are going to completely overshadow the ESPN crew in terms of appealing to the next generation of students...if this hasn't happened already. The starting salary for Newhouse folks is among the lowest at SU.

I'd agree with that. My son has visited twice along with Whitman and was very impressed. He's looking at a dual major program they have between the iSchool and Whitman (there is also one between the iSchool and Newhouse). Very attractive average starting salary as well as job placement percentages.
