You've got to be kidding with the play calling. The inside handoff over and over and over isn't fooling anyone. It's flat out stupid to be wasting possessions with the same thing over and over when it's not working. They are fortunate in having stopped ND every time ... THEY NEED TO CAPITALIZE ON IT!

McDonald is completely overmatched most weeks as a coordinator. His recruits better start contributing a ton because he sucks as a play caller and a game planner. One positive - hardly any backwards bubble screens so far.

ND defense is being very aggressive and increasingly so as the game goes on. Our offensive coordinator needs to figure out what plays to run since their has to be open WR's or TE's.

Our offensive coordinator is not suddenly going to figure it out. He is terrible. It seems clear that he can't improvise during the game and goes to the same predictable plays over and over again. If we can figure it out every week, one might assume ND has too. Syracuse's only reliable play is a broken play with Hunt running around hoping to break free.

Its time for the seniors to sit on offense, we need to play Morris, McFarlane, Phillips, Custis, Enoicy, Ishmeal. We need to get the young people experience, this is going to be a long year. We had a chance early in this game, and blew it.

Hackett sucked for two years before figuring it out, and people gave him all kinds of leash. For whatever reason a bunch of our fans just really, really dislike Mcdonald, even though he's exactly the kind of guy we should be gambling on.

I'm glad he started calling running plays. But then ND started dialing up the blitzes and pressure and McDonald has been slow to respond. Either run different running plays or throw to help relieve the pressure.
