Syracuse's Home Slate in One Post

no students for UNC is a bummer, but all might games is amazing, kids activities all day, then the dome at night!!!!

Holy Family?!?

Ryerson?!?

What's next, DeVry Institute? University of Phoenix? BOCES? How about the Continental School of Beauty?

Those'll get us ready for Tobacco Road.

I believe those are exhibition games

So glad you guys scheduled 'Nova in the OOC. That's always been one of my favorite Big East matchups in recent years.

Students have class the monday after UNC...there's almost always a game the weekend before and usually there's a fair amount of students who come back early for it. We won't have a crazy record breaking student section, but there will be a bunch who make the trip back.

I would bet that 7pm is a placeholder time. Notice that Duke and IU are the only two with different times, and we already knew about those games.

Amazing schedule, one nitpick- no students for UNC will kinda suck.

If the season tickets work the way they have my first 3 years here, we get to choose one game over Christmas break that we can pick up a ticket for free. That's how I got to see the game against Detroit last year for Boeheim's 900th win. So if that's the case, at least myself and my roommates will definitely come back early to see that game, and I'd imagine a lot of other students will take advantage of that too (if it's still the same policy).

Melancer, that is the spirit, spread the word brother!!!!!

not to be picky, becuase the schedule RAWKS, but I'm going to anyway...

it looks like we are light 1 game. The last two years we had 19 home games (21 including exhibitions), this year we have 18 (2o including exhibitions). This fact plus all the "7PM games" makes me think that Ticketmaster is not done updating the site...we might still have one scrub December game

This might be the best home schedule ever. Talk about fan friendly. No reason we can't surpass Kentucky in attendance this year.

Always a bold statement, but we could hardly do better as far as fan-friendliness of schedule.

Tons of weekend night games (unheard of for the past decade). No games during Thanksgiving break. Only five home games during Christmas (and only two ACC games, both on Saturday nights), none during exam week.

The big question: does SU include North Carolina in the student ticket package? That's two days before the start of the spring semester. That date is usually not included. That'd make a huge difference in atmosphere and attendance.

We'll see what happens with North Carolina, but we should get very good numbers (pushing 24,000) if we can manage ~25 regular season wins. Great schedule.

Thank you so much! I am afeared my daughter is going to miss a few games in the fall due to night school.

I have one complaint. I HATE that our senior night is once again on a week day night. It just sucks.

We'd be so fortunate to have Senior Day on a weeknight - last year it was a weekday afternoon. Yuck.

Wow, you guys have a great home schedule.

I am hyper-excited to know when the Carolina-Syracuse game is. I bet the Dome crowd will blow the roof off that night.

Carolina released its schedule today, too. In addition to our normal home-and-home games with NC State (2-1 and 2-26) and Duke (2-12 and 3-8), we will also play Wake Forest (1-5 and 2-22) and Notre Dame (2-8 and 3-3) home-and-home in ACC play. We play Pitt in CHNC on 2-15. In OOC play, we go to Michigan State on 12-4 for our game in the ACC-B10 Challenge. We play UK on 12-14 and Texas on 12-18, both in Chapel Hill. So, we have a pretty good, balanced schedule for the upcoming season.

BUT, we have to get through football season first. :)

Any chance there is a game missing from the Saturday December 14th date? I've made it back to Syracuse that weekend for a game seems like the last 5 or 6 years running.

At St. John's on the 15th.

that game will be on fox sports 1 i'm guessing for those who can't travel to the game

It was in the information online when I upgraded my season tickets today. I, too, find all 7pm start times a bit strange. It's like they weren't sure what to put in, with the exception of Duke and Indiana that had already been announced, so they inserted 7pm. I hope it stays.

I am also noticing they are down a home game compared to last season.

It's probably just a placeholder until TV picks their feature games. I doubt we play North Carolina on a Saturday night, for instance. Where did you get this list, off a site like Ticketmaster?
