They should all be as pissed off as Taj because nobody on the offense has played very well. Breakdowns everywhere at every position. Nobody has been good, nobody. Only argument one could make is for Jackson but that’s it.

Reading through these comments - do people honestly believe TD is ONLY looking for Jackson? I'm not saying he isn't his 1st read the majority of the time (which he should be!), but to think TD is sitting back there and saying..."Nope, not gonna throw to Taj, not gonna throw to Nykeim etc" is asinine to me. He's constantly under duress and panicking. There is no way TD is "favoring" anyone.

He's simply not making the quick decisions we'd all like to see. I still think he's very talented, he just needs to let the game slow down, make his reads and get the ball out. When he actually throws the ball, good things tend to happen. Couple that with the fact he's likely out there playing with some sort of injury, it makes it that much harder. I saw him wincing in pain towards the end of the game and it appeared he was favoring his ribs/mid-section. I'm still all in on him. It's obvious he has talent, he just needs to harness it. And what we have behind him is nowhere close to what we get out of Tommy.

I thought we'd see better out of him this year, but given our shortcomings on the O-Line and the fact the staff seems to have put a bit of a leash on him running, it's making life more difficult. He has good straight line speed. I'd love to see him take off more and keep the defense honest. It would certainly help take the pressure off him. Hopefully we see better things Friday night.

I think Tommy is consciously trying to made sure Triston gets "his" stats. That's not the way to play this game...
The lack of production from the slot(e.g. Riley) is shocking. I thought he would be Erv Part 2. I mean, unless changing jersey numbers and dyeing his hair orange is his kryptonite; Sean should be this year's ACC version of Dortch...

Our WR group’s perplexing. I don’t know whos at fault. I’ve been tough on Taj all season but last night I don’t blame him. I just wish he didn’t mope on the bench like a 9 year old who got taken off the mound for not throwing strikes

What about Cordy’s penalty. I mean really.

Taj being upset didn't bother me nearly as much as the Cordy play did.

True sophomore knows he's getting open and wants the ball vs 8th year senior who was getting burned but finally doesn't allow a completion and won't stop jawing about it. On a 3rd down.

But as I said in the game thread (RIP), the bagel boss comment by the announcer was classic. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Maybe TD needs glasses?

The Cordy defense on this board is such a silly Shafer legacy.

Kid's hardnosed alright. Hardheaded as well apparently. Hope he sits for a long time after that foolishness.

A kid can have a big heart and impressive perseverance. Doesn’t mean he’s the best option to play, especially against 6’3 wideouts.

That's my opinion under the best of circumstances. (And my record on here bears that out, if Dino wanted him back, that was all I needed to hear.)

Earning Idiot Penalties is a tiebreaker, though. Don't want to see any more from him.

Overall, I think this team lacks leadership on the player side -- which is why stuff like this happens when frustration boils over.

Taj got "punished" appropriately -- this will be a good learning experience.

I think thats the nicest way you can put it. I’d be disappointed if he saw the field again and at that point I think it’d directly reflect on the staff.

ding ding ding. there is no veteran leadership on this team. not everything falls on the coaches. it's easy to say that Dino and his staff are making the big bucks so they should fix everything. you can't fix selfish/look at me/where are my stats without cleaning a little house. I hope the transfer portal doesn't fill up too much but there are definitely some bad apples right now. Ask Justin Fuente what that can do to your formerly sterling coaching resume. Coach killers are a part of sports, we seem to have a few

Haven't been to any games this year but of buddy of mine was telling me Harris's body language and engagement on the sideline hasnt been good. Also, he looks up at his family all the time during games.

He’s a kid. We really can’t be drawing too much from information like this. I looked up at my family a lot when things weren’t going my way in sports, didn’t mean I wanted to be there any less or didn’t have my teammates back.

Harris sure was mopey, but I think we tend to assume a lot in these situations.

Tommy's main concern is getting Trishton his "stats"? I could not disagree more. If that were his main concern, Dino would have put him on the bench immediately. TD is out there trying to win games. Trishton is the guy getting open, and he is clearly our best offensive option, which is why he's getting his "stats." Basically what you said is, "Getting Trishton his stats is more important than winning to Tommy." Absolutely no way is that even remotely true.

What was that comment?

What was that comment?

While they were showing the replay of Cordy jawing the much taller WR, the commentator said something to the effect of Cordy is going to get 15 for going all bagel boss on him.

Yes and they couldn't get over the fact that his mouth piece was stuck on the top of his helmet.
