Who cares though. The kids that are in school right now, have they ever been to the NCAA tournament? They aren't like us. We have seen tons of great wins. They haven't. And they are kids. I didn't and won't give it a second thought.

I honestly don’t care, if they want to storm the court after the Monmouth win … go ahead . The idea it has to be after a historic victory left the college sports world about 30 years ago .
Relax and enjoy a badly needed win .

we would have won by double digits if we didnt have guys inexplicably just fall down and turn the ball over under minimal pressure about 5 times. Other than the constant falling, it was quite a fun game.

Reminds me of Stacey Augmon. While in college, I would implore him to work on his 3 point shot non-stop. He has a real chance to be a difference maker at the next level but in the league now you need to knock down that jumper to play the 3/4 now.

Donnie is key to this team from an offensive standpoint in terms of being better on that end as is George playing better.

One thing that’s for certain is this team has been challenged as much as anyone in the country in terms of playing against elite defense. The ACC is improved but won’t feel anything like that after this last 4 game gauntlet. This is experience should help with getting better and execution against weaker teams.

Not just his actual points, but he changes how you have to play others. He's key!!

True but I'd say that's the lesser of two problems, We've seen alot of years of bad defense. Our defense looks legit. Can we learn to score? Guess we'll see

Nah, don’t tell me how to feel. I loved the win just didn’t like the court storm.
I guess any top 25 game Cuse wins now they rush the court? Or how about any win, don’t gatekeep, right?
They rushed the court on a team that already had a loss, was ranked 13th and program that has never been to a final 4. Didn’t think this was warranted.

This forum is having a collective orgasm after beating the #13 team. Storming the court is perfectly fine. My goodness.

Isn’t Monmouth the only lesser team we didn’t beat by at least 30 points though? Even UB which was just an exhibition game that we won by 10, is currently 8-0. Of course Iowa St was a bad loss but they certainly are far from a bad team being ranked in the top 10. It’s not like past years where we squeaked out wins or had close losses with Q 3 and Q 4 teams. We will now have a stretch of 5 lower quad teams to see if we can continue intensity and focus to start the ACC with hopefully a 10-3 record.

i think the monmouth game is going to be a heralder of typical end game situations for us. If we are up by 10 under 3 minutes, i can see teams just fouling us into making 1/2 or 0/2 free throws over and over again till they claw their way closer and closer. i dont see our FT shooting getting much better given who takes most of them.

Couple of random thoughts after watching the second half this morning.

I knew we were going to win once JJ hit that behind the backboard shot to start off the second half! But seriously he played great down the stretch. He does best when he doesn't have to think. Like Tom Cruise said, don't think just do lol.

With about 4 minutes left, Sadiq made a strong move to the goal. You could see Freeman jump up off of the bench and you could see he was very gimpy on that foot. I don't think we'll be seeing him for a while.

Kyle is so darn good. Even his foul shot looked less hideous. But seriously that was a huge shot he hit to give us the lead.

George has to be better. Simple

Kingz played a great first half and did some solid things off the ball in the second half. Tennessee clearly clamped down on him in the second half.

Sadiq continues to improve. Huge upside. I like how he can finish with both hands.

Kiyan didn't try to hero ball yesterday which was great.

Soure really hurts us when he's in there.

Betsey got less run that I was expecting. Probably related to defense.

That last play of the game was angina producing lol
