Kyle's performance this year exceeded all reasonable expectations. I wanted to hold out hope that he might return, but ultimately -- that was unlikely given how he capped off the season.
Beating #6 Miami on national television, to give Fran Brown his first marquee win, going out with a bang in a bowl game, setting records along the way, leading the nation in BOTH passing yardage AND completions.
It will be interesting to see how the draft plays out, and where he gets selected. But I can say unequivocally that he was the BEST passer in college football this past year, with the most accuracy / arm talent. Bar none.
There is nothing else we could have asked for. Guy was sensational, and helped put us back on the map.
Oh... maybe one more thing on your way out the door, Kyle? Get drafted HIGH and go kill it in the NFL, we need "dudes" to make it there to keep this train rolling and give the coaches something to sell on the recruiting trail.
