He’ll need to improve his 3 point shooting to do that. A lot.Not as a 5, but I think he has some potential as a 4.

NBA 4s need perimeter games these days. So…Not as a 5, but I think he has some potential as a 4.
I don't see that happening TBH at this stage.. but, if he developed more facing the basket offensive skills (1 or 2 dribble attack) I could see it. He's not going to be a star or anything like that though...He’ll need to improve his 3 point shooting to do that. A lot.
Lots of guys develop a 3 later in life. He’ll do it after he leaves college. But he’s not making the NBA just on a fun putback dunk.I don't see that happening TBH at this stage.. but, if he developed more facing the basket offensive skills (1 or 2 dribble attack) I could see it. I agree to a point, definitely if you're a star player offensively, but you can always use an athletic kid with long arms on the defensive side and for boards. Somebody gotta get those missed perimeter shots..NBA 4s need perimeter games these days. So…
Definitly not from a dunk lol! I'm not saying he's going too or should be drafted, but he has some tools. Good footwork, soft hands with the ball, knows how to use/position his body, with his reach and athleticism he can play 2-3" bigger this his size... I don't see enough tools to get him drafted at this point.Lots of guys develop a 3 later in life. He’ll do it after he leaves college. But he’s not making the NBA just on a fun putback dunk.
I’m guessing you don’t watch the nba much.I agree to a point, definitely if you're a star player offensively, but you can always use an athletic kid with long arms on the defensive side and for boards. Somebody gotta get those missed perimeter shots..
He’ll be playing against 6’11” guys with just as much, if not more, athleticism. He just needs more to his game. He could be a 3 and D guy if he gets comfortable with threes. Quick release would be even better.Definitly not from a dunk lol! I'm not saying he's going too or should be drafted, but he has some tools. Maybe he could take off behind the three point line and then dunk it. That would be a three.NBA 4s need perimeter games these days. So…
He’s literally being mocked in the 1st round by people who know what they are doingBegrudgingly, I disagree. I like him, he's a decent college center, but he's too small for an NBA center, with not enough skills to play PF in the NBA. He may make a decent living playing overseas, but not the NBA, much less being a first-round NBA pick. Let's not get carried away with a few highlight plays. Everyone has highlight plays.
Do you have any links? I haven't seen that anywhere yet. He’s literally being mocked in the 1st round by people who know what they are doing
His ceiling is a homless man's Mitchell Robinson so no I don't see it.Not as a 5, but I think he has some potential as a 4.
As good as those dunks were, his defense wasn’t his best today. Got posted up and scored on a good amt and they missed a few they should have made.
After re-watching, these comments make even less sense. Recall one move where Corhen got Kyle off balance for a nice finish, but other than, there was not even a hint of Kyle being a liability.its not just today...been going on for a while, at least the last 3 games been the same story
He’s not a liability by any means. He’s obv the best we have down there and has been great all yr. He just has been letting guys get position on him. Some finishing, some not. Also hasn’t been rebounding like we were used to.After re-watching, these comments make even less sense. On the regular, seems like you guys are expecting him to be two places at once on the defensive end at times.
I will say Clemson was his worst game, but 4 steals this game, and multiple deflections from a 5? Gotta take that.
That happened right in front of me. I’m almost positive that 2012 game vs St John’s is the most SU fans that have ever been in the Garden at one time. It was 17k SU fans and a couple thousand St John’s.MCW had a pretty nasty one at MSG vs John’s
At about the 1:15 mark, I thinkDave Johnson’s put back one hand dunk over Mourning was pretty crazy too.
I did some googling: there is some discussion of him being a high draft choice. Will be interesting how it all shakes out. Might really give Red some chops in the portalLots of guys develop a 3 later in life. He’ll do it after he leaves college. But he’s not making the NBA just on a fun putback dunk.
I saw #1, #2 and #3 live. But I would trade all three to have seen #4 live.My favorite dunks of all time:
1.) Jonny Flynn’s dunk at Rutgers
2.) Kyle’s dunk today
3.) CJ over Otto Porter
4.) Hakim’s dunk vs Texas
5.) All of Dion’s fast break dunks
Same man. Was in the lower bowl myself. That happened right in front of me. I’m almost positive that 2012 game vs St John’s is the most SU fans that have ever been in the Garden at one time. It was 17k SU fans and a couple thousand St John’s.
JJ has like 10 missed decent ones lol. MCW and Silent G had some nice misses too lmao
Triche right there with himSilent G was the master of the spectacularly missed dunk.
From this video, which is about 10 minutes long with some of the best dunks back in the day, go to the 3:23 mark and think that's the one you are referring to,.
Sherm Douglas best lobber ever.
