That was the worst football game I have ever seen

My dad watched the replay in 1 hour 45 minutes by doing the 15 second fast forward between plays on YTTV. That was the way to watch that game. I told him I was jealous.

Overall, that game can be put up against some of the all-time stinkers in the last 10 years and would hold up well. Awful play all around. Even the best play of the game, the Pitt punt return, highlighted one of the worst in-game decisions you'll see.

Yes, I do that sometimes with NFL or other college games. It can be very efficient & you don't miss any plays. I usually can do it in 1 hour, 15-20 minutes. It's amazing how much wasted time there is in football games.

I can think of at least 10 games worse than that, which is really saying something, but let’s not overstate how bad of football we’ve been subjected to in recent memory.

Akron 2008, Purdue 2004 51-0, Virginia Tech 1999 62-0, Penn State 2008 55-13, Washington 2007 42-12, Georgia Tech 2012 56-0, 2016 USF 45-20, MTSU 2017, BC 2017 42-14, Maryland 2019 63-20

I’d also add the Toledo and Villanova wins.
Perspective is a good thing-
but that was a very painful dose from the Hall Of Horrors.

It was bad, but certainly not the worst.

As a matter of fact, it was easily topped by the Giants v. Broncos game yesterday... Giants are TOTAL losers.

Stat of the century:
Teams with a 18 pt. lead and 6 minutes to go WERE 1603-0.

Now, thanks to the the Giants, they are in there own bucket, 1603-1.
