THE 2 BIGGEST LOSSES IN THE LAST 7 YEARS

nah. Maryland in 2019 and Hackett

You just have to hope next year's offensive line is what Syracuse got in 2018. That's been the difference more than anything.
Agree the offensive line is 1 of top 3 weaknesses this team has , it looks like we may only lose Servais to graduation I really do not see him returning for a sixth year I do see P. Davis coming back for a fifth year, I am at the point where Qadir White may never contribute to this program I hope I am wrong but he has major weight / conditioning issues, with that said it looks like we will return about 11 scholarship offensive linemen and hopefully we sign all 5 of the verbal commits in the 2021 , also it wouldn't hurt to bring in a transfer via juco or portal.

What QBs did he recruit? Hunt and who else? Marrone was not a good recruiter.
We don't know how successful Marrone would have been recruiting QB's. Nassib wasn't his, any more than Dungey was.
True but he developed Nassib to be a very good fit for his system and he went on to the NFL as a back up for 3 years Marrone was only here 3 years he did bring in Hunt and a couple other QB'S Hunt did get MVP of a bowl game my point is Babers QB recruits or lack of have not really done a dam thing.

Marrone did have Nassib on hand who he developed into a very good player and went on to the NFL as a back up for 3 years He recruited Hunt who won MVP at the Texas bowl not bad for only being the head coach at a poor program for 3 years my point is what has Babers QB recruits done in 4 1/2 years. Marrone was a player developer especially at the offensive line.

If you give Marrone credit for developing Nassib then u have to give Dino credit for Dungey.

Didn’t Marrone get that kid from Rochester that mooned the basketball crowd? I forget his name... Was AJ Long his or Shafer’s? Oh and Paulus?

Just a smidgen of credit for Dino here because Dungey was already a special breed 6'3 235 LBS. - big - fast - athletic -strong - tough - instinctive - leader - warrior - winner he made ( ALL ) of his teammates feed off his energy.

Doug also got the kid Zach Allen who bailed when Marrone left. I think he ended up holding for PATs at TCU, so I guess that doesn’t count for much

He was here 4 years, most of which looked very similar to the last bunch here (minus the 10 win season).

Babers QB recruit helped us get to 10 wins when Eric was failing.

It’s not as simple as you like to think

lol. Marrone gets all the credit for Nassib, but Dino gets a smidge for Dungey?!

He wasn't that big when Dino arrived. I think he was about 205 lbs as a freshman and around 215 lbs his first year under Dino. He had all those other attributes though. Dino deserves a lot of credit for putting him in a position for success. He wasn't putting up the numbers he did in the previous offense.
