The 2 keys to a loss

They turned it over being aggressive. How many unforced ones did we have by the globetrotter dribbling routines. At least theirs come off doing something positive usually. Come on, man.

so our turnovers were ugly and theirs were pretty. a turnover is a turnover. they give the other team another possession. we both had 16. even.

7 assists? 2 in the 2H? That’s stagnation personified and “backed up.” Don’t tell me they got good looks either because they didn’t. They didn’t move the ball.

we had plenty of good looks along with tough ones. they also had some tough looks from deep and made some.

Our tempo creates less possessions per game.
That is on us. We can shoot 60% but if we play slow and turn the ball over like we typically do and the other rebounds we will lose.

less possessions for both teams.

Super, SU just needs to rebound better and shoot better from the free throw line.

That's only been the two biggest problems with Syracuse for as long as I can remember.

if we did that at least last night we win.

Why stop there? If JAB always got good rebounding and free throw shooting out of his teams, we'd have more national championships.

Unfortunately, those are two of the areas that he doesn't prioritize in favor of a better zone team.

we're usually not THAT bad. -13 on the boards and 5-13 at the FT line is not normal.
