we lack in Mon-Fri prep, and we have no discipline on Saturday

and it shows

That is on coach

a loss next week in front of 22k ends the Doug Marrone era

I've always been on Marrone's bandwagon. I'm slowly coming off

How do fumbles and a blocked FG = bad prep?

We never fumble against the scout team.

How is 5 stupid turnovers possibly marrones fault? He can do everything but run with the ball himself, players have to be held accountable for stupid penalties and turnovers. Period.

he keeps Rene as PR and he is a disaster

He does not hold Nassib accountable

Lemon has the drops for a while now - not held accountable

HCDM holds no one accountable and it shows

I have been on the bandwagon too. Marrone talks a good game but it is not translating into wins on the field. If Coach P & George D win on Friday night I will be off the bandwagon.

Penalties and turnovers are discipline. Discipline is on coaching. Even Marrone admitted that 2 weeks ago.

He has had 4 years to hold the players accountable. Please tell me what changes he has made when a player screws up. How about putting a player on the bench when they jump offsides, fumble, dropped pass, etc. The same problems are occurring every game yet the same players are on the field.

The coach decides who plays so maybe a lack of playing time would wake these guys up.

Ill agree with the point that he needs to be held accountable for putrid mistakes, but keep in mind he needs to keep the best players kn the field in order to win games. If the nest players we have keep messing it up then we dont have much to work with.

his playmakers dont play: Broyld, Kobena, Flemming

Sales is the only one who sees the field and he is a possession guy

Poor blocking and blown assignments leads to sacks, leads to pressure and leads to turnovers. That is on preparation and the coaches, namely the head coach.

He held broyld accountable for a fumble on a key drive and he sat him...everyone wants him to hold players accountable but they complain about players that he holds accountable not playing.

they are the ones who make stupid plays every game

It's up to Marrone to hold those players accountable, and he's not doing it.

Need to sit if you make huge mistakes. Period. It's become too much of a defining characteristic of this team. Nothing else is getting through. Put PT at risk for anyone and everyone.

This - except I don't care what happens on Friday. I was falling off the bandwagon after Minny, grabbed the back of the cart with one hand after Pitt but I'm officially off. I've been frustrated for a long time but have always given HCDM the benefit of the doubt. I also realize that the coaches can only control so much of the mistakes that players make. But at this point, I just don't see progress being made. I can handle losses, adversity, stupid decisions, bad playcalling but all of those things must also be accompanied by the feeling that the end is in sight. That progress is being made, that the team is getting better and better even if it is a slow progress. This isn't happening. At this point we need a new coach. Unfortunately.
