Earlier this week, I was watching old game film from last year. We seemed to be winning ugly last year, why not win ugly this year.

I youtube searched Brisly Estime and the first play that came up was his touchdown catch from Jarrod West on a double reverse trick play. That play seemed too good, and seemed it could work every time.

I decided to Direct Message George McDonald on twitter this play, asking him to run it. No reason why it wouldn't work.

..And he ran it!

It worked!!!

..Until the wide open drop.

So, thanks George for listening to me. It's time we be creative with that offense.

I just don't even know what I'm writing at this point, so frustrated we lost.

Go Orange.

It was a good call. No one could predict that Ben Lewis would channel his inner Tim Lane.

We really needed him to get in on the long pass. Once he didn't, I told my wife, watch us go backwards. She thought I was being a pessimist. Until we kept going backwards.

Lewis wasn't even close to catching it. Bounced off his shoulder. Reflective glare? Dance team? Something distracted him

I told my wife they shouldn't punt but they will because they're stupid. Watch it go into the end zone now. Then it happens and just shake my head

I said the same thing to my wife. She knew I wasn't being pessimistic, though, as I ALWAYS give this team the benefit of the doubt ... except when experience counsels otherwise. And as a rule, this tea, sniffs the goal line and backs up.

My BYU friend came over for the double header. He wondered why I was so pissed Lewis got tackled at the one.

Then he understood.

In the words of Bump Bailey, "The sun was in my eyes."
