The disappointing thing...

This was a good lesson for TD and how to a...notice the blitz and where it is coming from and b...how to move in the pocket. As much as this was a beat down, there is a ton of stuff to be learned from this game.

No doubt in my mind Lea talked to Shafer about this game.

ND was bigger, faster, and stronger...not an easy combination to beat

Maybe not, but that same bigger, faster, and stronger team needed a late TD in the 4Q in South Bend to beat that juggernaut team otherwise known as Pitt. And, another juggernaut a couple of weeks ago, otherwise known as Northwestern, was one big stop in the 4Q from having the opportunity in scoring a late TD that would've either tied or won on a 2 pt. conversion.

All games aren't created equal, but Pitt and Northwestern are pretty good teams this year.

This game was a big moment for ND, and they seized it.

It was a big moment for Syracuse, and we weren't ready for it.

It's not the end of the world.

To me, the most disappointing thing is that Syracuse picked the absolute worst day to play their absolute worst game of the season. My God, can Foster ever make a tackle? He missed at least four tackles that would have been either lost yardage or no gain and because of his miss, it was a giant gain for ND. I just hope they got their clunker game out of the way and are focused and ready to take on a very capable motivated BC team. Syracuse owes them one from last year, lets see if they can cash in. Go Orange!!!!
