Johnson Wagner went out in 29, birdied 11 and eagled 12, but parred in to shoot 62. He certainly had the magic number on his mind. Along with 18 (Jack), 59 is undoubtedly the most significant number in golf.

What is the most hallowed number in other sports? I'll start with baseball and soccer
