Fair enough...I'm just throwing some stuff out there. By doing so I have hit a nerve with a couple of people. Yes, it's pure conjecture, but wasn't meant to be mean-spirited.

I realize that, and admit I jumped on only one point of your post (why Melo got here) and didn't pay much attention to the bigger point (opening up the door for elite big man prospects). Again, it was an attempt at a joke, which apparently landed short.

Since we don't know what his "academic issues" were, the rest of your argument is based entirely on conjecture.

it appeared that Melo lost his concentration when he realized that bernie would no longer be around to fondle him in the lockerroom and that he would no longer be spending his nights with laurie. then, once they started with all the damn pee tests, how the hell was he supposed to smoke his ganja??
