Did he discuss why Jesse only got 7 shots in our last game?

That’s a very good number. Arinze averaged 7 fga’s per game his junior, senior years. Craig Forth averaged between 3 and 4 fg’s for all his 4 years here, Rony Seikaly averaged 6 fg’s his senior year, less before that. Most centers, especially since the 3 point shot, aren’t volume shooters - Chet Holmgren of Gonzaga averages a little over 7 fga per game. Most centers even get a few of their FG attempts from offensive rebounds. It’s not just SU - 7 fga a game is a darn good stat for centers. Compare other teams. Very few centers ever get the super star Zion Williamson, Tim Duncan, Patrick Ewing (he averaged 10 fga) treatment. Increasing reliance on 3 point shooting has dramatically changed the game even more over time. I was happy that we concentrated as much as we did this game and that Jesse was up to the trust - JB must have seen a mismatch in their inside defense (probably hedging towards the perimeter).
