The Kansas St UMBC game was 50-43

I mean with all the CUSE offense bashing how bad are those offenses? Good lord.

Kansas State isn’t good either but they were without their best player.
He was their leading scorer and leading rebounder.
Their defense beat Creighton and UMBC just couldn’t score.
Kentucky will beat Kansas State by 20.

I don't think KSU wanted to get in an up and down game especially because they were without their best player.

Here's the rub. We play 7 guys (6 really), 3 are true freshman. 1 is a redshirt, 1 soph, 1 guy missed all of last season with a torn retina and then Howard a junior really playing his first meaningful minutes. And both centers are playing through substantial injuries; one of which we already know requires off season surgery.

At least when bashing our offense as painful (and rightfully so) at least the talking heads could acknowledge they understand why it's bad and state its our gameplan to slow it down and win a rock fight. we're not playing this way because it's historically who we are. It's just that it's who we are right now.

JB is now taking criticism in the media for it but it's frankly masterful.

I look at Michigan; two wins scoring 61 and 64 points. We've scored 60, 57 and 55.
