The New Marlins Park

The new stadium looks cool. I know it would have cost even more and perhaps would have detracted from its classic look, but I wish the new Yankee Stadium had a retractable roof.

Really? That is a shame. I'd like to believe that a new stadium will lead to improvement in the surrounding areas, but I realize that isn't always the case. Rochester's soccer stadium still sits in a bad neighborhood and I don't think one new business has popped up there since it was built; of course a 12,000 is a very different thing from a giant MLB stadium.
