The amazing thing about the scoring is that somehow we’re doing that with no post presence and only one guy who can hit the broad side of a barn outside the arc.

I’d rather score 1,000,000 points than not. people have been bagging on the defense but I don’t miss the days of 62 to 58 point rock fights.

Taylor is a very important player since we are effectively a 6 deep team and hes our only cover for guys who are going to flirt with foul trouble. No reason for him to try and expand his game he's handling tough assignments well and rebounding.

It might be small detail but was I only one excited that Red called the timeout at end of half with 5s left and dialed up that play - instead of momentum going to them it came right back to us. JAB has historically let that time just run off

It’s clear to me that Red was hyper focused on getting the defense right and then figuring out the offense along the way. Some things have happened throughout the year that have helped limit the choices available - Benny booted, Justin shooting woes, no viable inside scorer, and JJ’s horrendous start with his shooting. Glad to see them distill it down to a simpler design with multiple options.
