I rewatched the first 3Q's. Just the Offense, Def too painful.
The first 2 drives put a bad taste in my mouth, live. Not much better on replay.
Servais was brought in as a Tackle candidate. Depth pushed him to C. (Conway,Martin, McGloster all signed NFL contracts) IMO, he's a an NFL candidate.
Heckels injury put him back to C.
Just watching the O? Tommy played better than I thought. So did the Line. In the 1st half, announcer mentioned Vett giving up 2 pressures. He gave up another in the 3rd. It's important to note, that a guy like Alton Robinson pressures 19% of the time. Rest of the ACC is about 15%. 1 or 2 times out of 10, the DE is going to win. Seems that held true. Alexander was decent, but with a key hold in the 3rd... They performed better than I thought, when I didn't watch the a$$ kicking on the other side of the ball. I'm not freaking out, here, but yeah, this thing needs to be smoothed out.
HCDB was kinda pissed when someone asked about the run game in the presser... Agreed. Also said the best thing he learned was that the kids might have learned to listen... Not happy with the tackling.. Never believe your own hype.
We're not a top 25, at the moment. If this becomes a teachable moment? We shall see...
