He keeps playing near that level and playing consistently. No reason we cant Dance
If DC just made same type of transition next...The reality of Roberson is that he was a top 30 recruit, who just needed time to develop. He didn't play at all freshman year, got his first dose of PT as a sophomore, and was up and down all season. Also needed to get stronger. And then was inconsistent for the first 1/3 of this season.
But I think we're starting to realize why he was rated so highly, and why he was called "the Beast" in high school. We're starting to see him emerge like you'd expect a guy who was a top 30 recruit. I honestly see no reason why he can't average 12-14 ppg and 9 rpg the rest of the way. Him doing so will go a LONG way toward this team making a run.
I think you already did: "the guy was spectacular."the guy was spectacular. Hard to find words for how great he was
He's finally living up to that nickname "The Beast." Wow. It's not that he jumps really high (although he does) it's that he can jump multiple times and not lose any height on his jumps. Reminds me of Dennis Rodman, as that was what made him such a great rebounder.the guy was spectacular. Hard to find words for how great he was

The one where he was jumping with 4 Dukies and managed to win the offensive rebound was a thing of beauty.
He can shoot it against cupcakes in his senior year.I know he can make the 16 footer but if he's out there there's zero shot of an O-board; anyone else just never want him to shoot that?

Amen to that, and kudos to G for finding him on the pick and roll a few times. We haven't seem them execute that very well all year until tonight.the guy was spectacular. Hard to find words for how great he was
nope, I like him taking it, because it will ALWAYS be there. No one will ever guard him out there, so it is a good option late in the clock. He seems to build on making one or two, so like all shooters, keep trying until they go in. Now if he just realizes a FT is the same thing, maybe his dismal FT % will start to climb too!I know he can make the 16 footer but if he's out there there's zero shot of an O-board; anyone else just never want him to shoot that?
JB in a post game interview chewed him out for taking a jump shot. He is leading the ACC in rebounding.I know he can make the 16 footer but if he's out there there's zero shot of an O-board; anyone else just never want him to shoot that?
He was amazing...so happy for him.
Hopefully he can play this well against mid majors next year!
In all seriousness he's been a beast in ACC play. He's got to be up there as a leading rebounder in ACC play.
