Worst game since last season for that group

Guys wide open all game, aided by drops

Curious what we are trying to do out there

Edit- Agree about the injuries playing a key role here, lots of inexperience out there

you're blaming the defense? we had 4 turnovers in the first half. good lord.

You're lost per usual.

Offense was absolutely to blame as well for the first half, but one of those picks wasn't really a turnover since we got it back same play, and the other 3 were all down field. Bad plays? Sure. Turnovers inside our own 25? Not at all.

The secondary was terrible all game. Fact. Injuries played a role for sure, and the field probably didn't help with footing, but they had guys running wide open all game. All game. You could argue the drops Miami had were more meaningful than the interceptions we threw.

We had Rodney Williams and Carl Jones playing most of the game.. guys that weren't on the 2 deep to start the season, give them a break.

Big part of it. I forgot about the Scoop injury.

Try to cover someone playing on a cow pasture

against 4 star skill players, I guess that doesn't matter. SHAME ON YOU DEFENSE FOR ONLY GIVING US A CHANCE TO WIN AGAINST A TOP TEN TEAM ON THE ROAD WHEN OUR QB LOST HIS MIND FOR THE FIRST HALF

Whats wrong with you? Are you kidding. We are playing 3rd string guys against 4 and 5 star players. You dont have a clue.

Also their guys were recruited by everyone our guys not so much and familiar surroundings help a lot

Ill agree with that for sure.

Any updates on Cordy and Scoop?

They did what they could on that excuse of a field.

With that said, Rodney Williams' dropped INT led to a TD the next play. That was the back breaker.

Bozo the clown checking in!

I don't know. We sure have to score more than 19 pts.
Defense travels. We can't count on scoring 30+ per game. This isn't the BigXII or Pac 10, we play some monster defenses in the ACC.

Moving forward, we'll roll on a lot of teams but we won't be more than a 20-30 ranked team popping in and out of the rankings until this defense becomes solid w/ depth.

Secondary had lb's blitzing so they had to cover on their own and fought. Wasn't their best game but it happens.

That was big early. Delayed blitzes. Finally got some hits later in the game but Rocco made a bunch of comments on how the delayed blitzes weren't working and just taking a guy out of pass coverage.

That's why I think scheme also hurt some, especially early.

The secondary couldn’t cover Miami talent and our pressure couldn’t get there consistently - and we still played them within one score.

FSU has that kind of WR talent with less at QB. Louisville is a strange beast. The other teams - not worried.
