The team is clearly better

I don't see anyway that #16 and #34 make it to the end of this season at this clip.
If 16 keeps taking hits like those on the end of the drive i dont see him making it halfway

Shrader takes a lot of hits but he does a great job of positioning himself so that he doesn't take many straight on.
29 carries. not an ideal situation for your starter . he's a big dude but all it takes is one hit and you out.

Lutz fumble
Smyznt missed FG

Both enormous. That said, coaching was horrendous
The fumble was awful but the backup player got ripped on his second touch which could have fallen out of bounds. Crazy timing. I know how great Smyzt has been over his career but a college kid who missed a 45 yarder, I can’t really call that a mistake. All in all, we played pretty well, considering.

The staff is better.

The talent is better.

Dino's in game decisions are a dumpster fire.

Brutal. That's the difference.

Hey, look on the bright side! We are back to the level of the later Pasqualoni years.

you mean until he can't .
There isn't an alternative.

We run RPO. He's going to call his own number a lot.

Even when we run pure passing plays, he's going to scramble a lot.

What exactly do we propose he do? He touches the ball every play and then has a decision to make. And he makes the decision to run. A lot.

we know that he will run alot. Like all things though they get ground to a halt and what will we do then when we gets a concussion or has a worse injury happen?

i didn't say it wasn't effective. i simply stated that's not ideal. not in the long term . for obvious reasons.

You're asking the wrong question.

What else are we going to do now?

Not call RPOs?

Not have him scramble?

Dungey was reckless. Shrader isn't reckless.

Asking what we'll do if he gets hurt is completely irrelevant.

So long as Shrader is the starter it's not going to change. At least not this season.

We’re going to go 9-3. That’s what. And be pissed we missed out on the CFP because of these coaching decisions.

There isn’t one person here who thought SU would beat FSU or Wake in the beginning of the year. Not one. Myself included. The fact they are in the games is a lot to say about the players and the potential. It’s enjoyable to watch again. It isn’t a complete lost cause and now Dino needs to learn how to be accountable. They compete. They fight and this GS is clearly the answer we needed.
Since Garrett took over we aren't getting a lot of holding or procedure calls.

Ripped? Go back and watch it again. Lutz is terrible with the ball.
