It didn't help us in 2014 and likely won't help us in 2016. That's a long 11 weeks straight of football.

At this point last year, we had a bye in week 2. ACC then gave us Wake Forest. They'll likely give us something similar this year. Wonder if it will be a weeknight to let our new coach and offense get some TV love?

SU doesn't do itself any favors with non conference scheduling. We should be booking the first 4 weeks, so we don't leave anything to chance.

Wake still has Sept 10 open.

Look at Louisville's schedule though. They have both Sep 10 and Sep 17 open. I think it's more likely that they lobby the hardest for a week 2 league game. Just hope they don't get Wake and we get left in the cold.

Louisville @ Syracuse, Friday Sep 9, I could see that. Petrino vs Babers in the Dome.

wow that be awesome

A week 2 bye might not be the worst thing this year. The coaches can evaluate what they have and change/correct accordingly.

looks like duke, wake,Louisville and us will have no non conference games that week so probably 2 league games

ACC could do Wake @ Duke, Louisville @ Syracuse or Syracuse @ Wake, Louisville @ Duke week 2.

Either way Louisville is on the road week 2. They just need to figure from Wake, Duke, Syracuse what works the best.

I'd much rather it be a Saturday night. I effin hate Friday night games, especially so early in the year. Maybe I could flip those tix for Met Life ones, if that were to come to pass!
